#18 Paragons of the Virtues

When the False Messiah returned in glory, he bestowed gracious gifts upon his faithful followers. His most generous endowments were of course granted to his his most steadfast disciples, those who had persevered in their hope of his return and upheld the virtues of his teachings.

Perhaps most prominent among these giants of the faith were three particular individuals, each acknowledged by the congregation as epitomising the virtues most valued by the Society of the Sanguine Rose. They received special blessings from the glorified Apostle in recognition of their status as exemplars of these qualities. To the sane eye, they are hulking, cannibalistic monstrosities, appallingly literal 'giants of the faith'. To the deluded eyes of the Raptured Court they are shining examples of humble disciples bearing witness to the Apostolic values of Faith, Hope and Charity. The greatest of them is Charity.
