#126 - The Favour of the Necropolos

Before long, reports concerning the recent activities of the Hieratic Magistracy of the Revenant Chancellor reached the Office of Bone-tithe Responsibility. The OBR in turn reported to Orpheon Katakros himself, Mortarch of the Necropolis. The Mortarch was uncharacteristically impressed with the zeal and efficiency of the HMRC, particularly in their revenue from a certain Skaven hoard and mentioned it in passing to his lieutenant, Arch-Kavalos Zandtos. Intrigued, Zandtos deigned to grace the HMRC with his presence, to better observe the reports of their martial activities.

Zandos Ananke (as he is known to the HMRC) was not disappointed, and at his recommendation, one of Katakros's precious Mortek Crawkers was granted to the Hieratic Magistracy of the Revenant Chancellor. Buoyed by these accolades, the Mortisans of the HMRC swelled the ranks of their Mortek Guard and made ready for a new season of tithe collections.
